2024 SUMMER ACADEMY

To help grow our program, not just in numbers but also in our player development Sauk lacrosse will be holding a Summer Academy.

You can expect these sessions to help grow your boys knowledge of the game and their skills.  We know to grow the sport in our area and to  compete with other teams we need to give our boys more opportunities to learn/train/grow, and this summer we are looking to provide that!

This is for any current players or any players interested in the sport!  These sessions will be split by skill level and position so that players are getting the appropriate training that they need to improve their game!

Zach Lare (Varsity Head Coach) and the rest of Sauk’s HS coaching staff are helping to run the sessions, though you will see the roster of coaches includes many more than just them.  You’ll see some familiar faces from our youth coaching staff, so your boys will have an opportunity to keep growing those bonds. You will also see some new faces in Sauk alumni who are great ambassadors to the sport.  These younger coaches bring a ton of energy and knowledge from their time playing club lacrosse up through D1-3 in college.  

Sessions will run every Monday and Wednesday all of June and July (except the week of the 4th).  They will be held at Culver park and go from 6:00-8:00.

Cost is $100 for the entire summer.  If there is a new player who you know is interested they can come to their first session they are able to attend for free and we will have a prorated rate if they sign up for however many practices are left in the summer.  We will have equipment available.

To participate your player will have to be a USA Lacrosse member, which if you aren’t already you can become once you begin the registration process. Membership costs $35.
